Andy Martin
Andy is the licence holder. He trains the horses, as well as riding out every day himself. He also runs a Farrier business, providing general and specialist shoeing.
Julia Martin
Generally she oversees the running of the yard and organises the office.
James Martin
James is the oldest son of Andy and Julia. He is a Farrier by trade. He rides out every day, schools the horses and is the amateur jockey for the yard.
Tom Martin
Tom, the youngest of the Martin boys. He’s primarily events. But he still helps his Dad ride out and school the race horses.
Lawrence Lay
Lawrence is a former jockey who rides out at weekends and helps the team at the races.
Lex Merrick
Lex is part of the furniture and has been with us for many years. She rides out a couple of days per week and is acting PA to Julia and Andy.
Kendall Dickinson
Kendall joined the team in June. She has previously been at Hartpury College and did a level 3 in horse management. She is the full time groom and enjoys going racing with the horses and also competes her own horse.
Sarah Matthews
Sarah is the newest recruit. She is an important addition to the team. She is mainly on the yard, keeping things in order, helping the yard run smoothly.
